About Rajasthan
Rajasthan presents a great variety of feature and its history is as impressive as the State itself. In terms of area, Rajasthan is the largest State of India. It is a place where art, culture and tradition come together. It is known for its magnificent forts and palaces, vibrant festivals, hospitality, rich heritage and valour that bring alive the historic grandeur of this State. Jaipur is its Capital. A visit to this place will always remain alive in your memory, in your dreams. Padharo Mahare Desh.
About Us
OURS is an Association of Former Judges of Rajasthan who have joined hands together to promote the general welfare of the members of the Association, to protect, address and represent the interests of members, to promote solidarity and fraternity among them, and most importantly to seek fair and reasonable pension and other terminal benefits. In addition to this, the vision of the members was to promote human rights and to secure access to justice, especially for the weaker sections of the society and implementation of preventive and strategic Legal Aid Schemes.
Back in the year 2007, it was the dream of 15 former judicial officers to create such an Association in Rajasthan so that they can meet and exchange on issues of common interest. Their goal was also to strengthen our important relationships with stakeholders like the Government, the Rajasthan High Court and others. They rightly felt that the collective strength of its members may secure the much-required improvement in their pension and other retiral benefits.
As a result, this not-for-profit Association was formed and later registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958, on 4th October, 2007, with its headquarters at Jaipur. The Association was affiliated with the All India Retired Judges Association. Thus, a forum was made available to the retired Judicial Officers of Rajasthan. The present President of the Association was also one of the founding members of the Association.
At the time when the Association was registered in 2007, social media platforms were in their infancy as such creation of website of the Association was not thought of. But now things have changed. As our Prime Minister Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi has rightly said,
“we all need to skill our workforce in the use of advanced
technologies and processes…Globally, mobile workforce
is going to be a reality in the future.”

In a world that continually evolves, increased use of technology has given its knock on the doors of Former Judges Association of Rajasthan also. In the circumstances, a humble attempt to create website of the Association has been made in the year of “75 AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV”.
The Association proudly holds the distinction of being First Website of Former Judges in India and seeks the blessings of its esteemed visitors.
In the years ahead, we hope to further extend the activities of the Association. We have promises to keep and miles to go before the Sun Gets Dark.
